Okay y'all, we're four days fresh into fall and there is no sign of the season- other than all of the Starbucks loving, UGG boot wearing, pumpkin patch selfie-ing-girls in their fuzzy sweaters and boots, sweating off their makeup and hair extensions. Honestly, I'm talking about me, I'm describing myself. Hahaha, this was me shooting my recent Instagram sweater on Sunday in 90 degree, sunny weather. Oopsies. 😂 I'm probably describing all of us, come on just admit it.
Anyway, it's ninety degrees in Nashville and sunny, which if I were hanging onto summer, would make me ecstatic, BUT I have ditched the idea of the pool and adopted all that is fall instead. How can I swim with all of these pumpkin patches everywhere reminding me that in two days (we hope) it will be 60 degrees?!
Instead of braving the heat in a sweater, I decided to start with fall colors and move into fall layers when I won't die of a heat stroke.
I love Madewell. All that is Madewell. Girly, chic, simple, casual. Love it. For someone like me who doesn't have a normal 9-5 corporate job, I tend to lean more toward this style! I paired this outfit with booties to make it more of a fall look but to make this outfit a little more girly and dressed up, you could always pair it with a neutral block heel sandal!
Everyone welcome Iris to LiketoKnow.it!
I had the chance to sit down and spend time with this girl and my sweet photographer friend Jayda last weekend and I just have to brag on them for a second! Iris is such an incredible blogger, she makes it look so effortless! AND not to mention she is in school at Vanderbilt for counseling... Uh superhero?! And Jayda, where do I even start. She is a ball of sunshine, one of the happiest most joyful people I have ever met with an incredible story and she's a killer photographer. I feel so lucky that I get to be in a community with such talented creatives, but more lucky that they are all incredible people outside of all of that. At the end of the day, community and being an encourager is the most important thing to me. I want to be a good blogger, but more than that I want to encourage others and help them feel loved and being with these girls this weekend reminded me of that!
Who are some of y'all's favorite bloggers!? I would love to hear!
